🌟 Community Engagement in Margate - Growing the MCV Family! 🌟

Today, officers attended St John’s Community Centre in Margate, where a local meeting was being hosted by one of our local MPs. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet with residents, listen to their concerns, and discuss the issues that matter most to our community.

🤝 Throughout the event, officers spoke with numerous members of the public, sharing information about local policing initiatives and the important role that volunteers play in supporting their communities. We were delighted to welcome 7 new volunteers to the MCV (My Community Voice) platform, helping to strengthen communication between Kent Police and local residents.

💬 The morning was filled with engaging and insightful conversations. Community members shared valuable perspectives, ideas, and concerns, providing officers with important information that can help shape future projects and problem-solving initiatives across the district.

🌍 Events like these highlight the importance of face-to-face engagement and reinforce the strong partnership between the police and the communities we serve. Every conversation helps us better understand local priorities and ensures that we continue working together to make our neighbourhoods safer and stronger.

🐶 As if the community engagement wasn't enough, officers and visitors were delighted to meet a friendly four-legged guest attending with one of our local volunteers. Wearing his police hat with pride, he quickly became a favourite among those present and brought plenty of smiles throughout the event. 🐾
